Keflavik Airport, (KEF). We strongly recommend you arrive at least a day before the program and plan to depart at least a day after. If you plan to depart the country on the final day of the program, you will need to rent a car.

Keflavik airport is 50 minutes from Reykjavik, the main city. Solheimar Eco Village is another hour. Total: 2 hours from airport.

You have two options:

1. Rent a car at the airport and drive to the retreat center.

2. We can provide a meeting point for you to get a ride to the retreat location from Reykjavik on the day the program begins. We must know well in advance to arrange this option and you need to have some way for us to contact you (i.e. What's app, Facebook messenger if you have data, or cell sevice in Iceland). We will also arrange a ride back to Reykjavik for you.

Plan to get a hotel in Reykjavik the night before the program starts. This will give you the option to get a designated ride to the retreat location on the morning of the program. Additionally, you can inquire about arriving a night early at the Solheimar retreat location if you are coming by rental car.

You should also plan to stay in a hotel in Reykjavik on the last night of the program as well so that you can most conveniently get to the airport. There are plenty of housing options at various price points to suit your needs.

The program begins on the morning of the first day of the program. Plan to be there by 9-9:30am. Program begins at 10am. Program ends at 1:30 on the last day, followed by lunch.

- Bring a swimsuit in case you want to go to the local thermal pool. Many will go as a group at night.

- A hot/cold closed cup for tea and water in the program room.

- Notebook and pen.

- Bring warm clothes for outside.

- The inside can get warm, so dress in layers and bring a T-shirt.

If you want this option, it is best to rent a car and to plan on 2.5 hours driving time to get to the airport. Flights should then ideally be booked for 6:30pm or later. Taking a taxi from the retreat location costs more than $400.

There's plenty to do and see. Some one-day highlights could be: Sky Lagoon, Blue Lagoon (on the way to the airport), Golden Circle Tour, Whale Watching, or exploring the city of Reykjavik. And so much more!

From the airport you can take the airport bus that takes you to town comfortably. We recommend flybus which takes you to BSI bus terminal. You can reserve the bus ticket online or buy it at the airport.The bus terminal is very close to downtown Reykjavík.

From there shuttles take you to your final destination. Or you can take a taxi.
